Since 2017, the ERA-GLONASS emergency call system (analogous to eCall, a European system for automatic notification of traffic accidents) has been mandatory in the countries of the Eurasian Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia).
